About our excursion
During communism in Croatia, Yugoslavian army bulit tunnels in the island connected with a sea. It was intended for safe harboring special forces submarines and smaller navy vessels! Tunnels have also preserved mechanism for hiding the entrance in case of attack or aerial scouting. Today tunnels along coast are used for safe harboring fishermans during sudden storms, and are visited by many tourists and military enthusiasts.
In this excursion you will be introduced with some of the most beautifull coves and locations on south side of our beutiful island, we will be visiting the military tunnel, where you will be introduced in its puropse and functioning. By the tunnels there is beautiful beach for a stop and recreation! There is also hermitage Blaca in vicinity of the tunnel!
The price for boat (max 5 persons) is 150 EUR and there is also bigger boat for up to 10 persons which costs 200 EUR (fuel and skipper are included in price). The adventure lasts 2 hour between 9:00 and 19:00. During this trip we have short stop to tunnel and in some bay for swimming.
