About excursion
Stari Grad is located at the end of Stari Grad bay, a place where the blueness of the sea merges with the greenness of a large field – the antique Hora, protected by UNESCO from 2008. Uninterrupted history left numerous monuments of urban presence of men on the island. The remains of the city walls of Pharos founded by Ancient Greeks in 385/4 B.C., the Roman mosaics, churches from the early Christian period, medieval street complexes and most of all Tvrdalj – the Renaissance fortified castle with a pond and a garden belonging to the poet Petar Hektorovic, testify presence of the 24 centuries of this city. A walk through the old town is like listening to the whispers from the bygone times.
The price for big boat (max 10 persons) is 350 EUR and there is also smaller boat for 5 persons which costs 300 EUR (fuel and skipper are included in price). The adventure begins at 9:00 from port of Bol and finishes at 15:00 in Bol. We are very flexibile so there is option of personalizing whole excursion to fit Your vision!
During this trip we will visit also south part of island Brac and interesting par of StariGrad bay and will stop on few places for swimming and relaxing on sun.
Also if guests are interested we can stop for lunch by the sea in domestic food restaurant on island Brac, (Restaurant “CICIO”).
